Scenario

The opening sequence shows various photographic and painted views as well as Oklahoma landmarks superimposed on the New York landscape: Statue of Sioux Indian Chief "Touch the Clouds" wearing a military bonnet and necklace (breastplate) of bones placed on top of the Brooklyn Bridge The Gold Digger Statue placed on LibertyRoute 66 Western Gateway Arch Statue placed on a major Manhattan « avenue ». In New York, in the Manhattan area, these are several numbered "Avenues" which are crossed by streets with smaller numbers..

I’ve always liked Stallone, over the years, yes he’s addicted to sequels, but he’s made some really enjoyable movies, sprinkling in a few classics along the way. In Tulsa King may be his best work from an acting standpoint alone, he’s just plain cool as a mob capo.
Fun to watch, well worth a look
The series itself has an interesting story, is well written, taking full advantage of the humor of a New York mobster in Tulsa, Oklahoma without ever getting silly, add a healthy dose of violence, good writing and dialogue and a great cast of supporting actors and characters and you have a winner.
