Scenario
When Freddy Lupine’s wayward desire turns him into a werewolf and leaves a mischievous moon spirit on earth, Freddy must restore cosmic order before earth and moon collide. The German theatrical version was shortened by approx. 2.5 minutes to secure "No Age Limit" rating.

Next 100% vuk (2020). The pink-maned "Freddy" looks more like a poodle than a wolf, but he’s energetic when it comes to helping his pack of lupine superheroes trying to help those in need! Tired of being constantly humiliated, he looks to the sky and wishes for something.
The next thing is a moon spirit "Moopoo" before him and he is no longer weak
The thing is, though, his new blue friend needs life energy to survive, and so they must find a way to get him and his kind back to the moon, or disaster will befall us all! There is only one way to do this and that is to find "Max" – an ostracized wolf who lives deep in the forest and who possesses the necessary magic spell. They go searching, but will the evil-minded "Max" does she even want to help them, or could she have her own cunning plan to get revenge on those who cast her out?
Forgettable stuff, but decently animated and watchable enough
It’s a pretty fun family adventure, but it struggles to find its audience. The very young probably won’t appreciate the sense of (tea time) menace, especially towards the end – and the slightly older ones are likely to be put off by the initially rather childish characterization of ‘Freddy’. It’s also probably twenty minutes too long, but as a simple lighthearted drama it does what it says on the tin, tapping into the aspirations we all have when we’re young and want to fit in, lead and be appreciated.
