Originally, Sawyer’s character was to be an elderly, smooth, suit-wearing urban con artist from Buffalo, New York. However, when Josh Holloway forgot a line at an audition and then kicked a chair and cursed loudly in frustration, the writers liked the edge he brought to Sawyer’s character and decided to write Sawyer as more of a Southern, darker tramp.
However, when Koreans get married, the wife never takes her husband’s surname
Jin and Sun are married and have the last name « Kwon », which becomes an important plot point in the final season. In fact, in Korea it is not even allowed to marry someone with the same last name, except in rare cases.

I started watching it again after a long time, and it still persists. 10/10 stars
